–The Bancroft Community Historical Museum will host their 2nd annual Cemetery Walk Sunday evening that will feature information on four local families. Lisa Kunkel serves on the museum’s board, and she tells KLGA News this year’s event will be held in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
Author Tommy Murray will be on hand to talk about members of his family.
Murray based his novel “Fathers, Sons, and the Holy Ghosts of Baseball” off the exploits of his family.
The walk will also feature Charlie Quinn and his family.
The walk is scheduled to begin at 6 PM Sunday at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Anyone interested in attending the free event is encouraged to bring a lawn chair. If you have questions or would like more information, contact the Bancroft Community Historical Museum by calling 515-885-2065.
