Kossuth Area Garden Club Hosting Community Gardening Workshop

Kossuth Area Garden Club will be Hosting a Community Gardening Workshop on Tuesday, April 11th at 6:30PM at the Water’s Edge Nature Center. During the meeting several gardening topics will be discussed. Duren Watts, an employee of Grass Masters, Algona, will be sharing the latest information regarding the Emerald Ash Boer which has made its presence known in this area. Glenn Simonson, Glenn’s Green Thumb, Algona, will be offering tips on weed control and what options are available for those who have lost Ash Trees. In addition he will be telling about the newest varieties of garden plants and flowers that will be available for spring planting.
