–Kossuth County students who will be attending college in the fall are running out of time to apply for scholarships through the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, the parent organization for the Kossuth County Community Foundation. Jake Byers serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the CFNEIA, and he tells KLGA News they have multiple scholarship opportunities for area students.
Byers says some scholarships are for students in specific districts, or aimed towards students attending specific colleges.
The deadline to apply is 8 PM on Wednesday, March 8th. Byers suggests students begin work on the applications as soon as possible, just in case they need some assistance, which is available through their office.
To find a complete list of scholarships available or to apply, you can go online to www.cfneia.org/scholarships. All application materials must be submitted online through the foundation’s website.
