Search Warrant at Ledyard Home Ends with 3 Arrests

–Law Enforcement Officials from Kossuth and Emmet Counties executed a search warrant at a residence in Ledyard Friday morning, resulting in 3 separate arrests. An ongoing investigation led to information that illegal activity was taking place within the residence at 401 Richland Street in Ledyard.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies seized numerous items known to be associated with illegal drug use, such as cash, methamphetamine, marijuana and guns.

As a result of the search, Deputies arrested 60-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Miller Sr. and 35-year-old Jeffrey James Miller on charges including Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (Class B Felony), Gathering where Drugs are Used other than Marijuana (Class D Felony), Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp over 7 grams of Meth (Class D Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor).

Deputies also arrested 53-year-old Sherri Lynn Gillis on charges of Gathering where Drugs are used other than Marijuana (Class D Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd or subsequent offense Methamphetamine (Class D Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd or subsequent offense Marijuana (Serious Misdemeanor) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor).

All three are residents of the home at 401 Richland Street. Each defendant was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
