–A two-year long investigation in Hancock County has led to the arrest of a Corwith man on multiple felony charges.
According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began following a burglary at a residence in rural Forest City on January 2nd of 2021. That investigation led to a search warrant being executed at a residence 4 miles east of Corwith in February of 2021. While executing that warrant, items from the burglary were located.
On Friday (4/21), 43-year-old Tommy Lee Gretillat of Corwith was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Theft (Class C Felony), 3rd Degree Burglary (Class D Felony), and 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief (Class D Felony).
Online court records show Gretillat is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing in Hancock County District Court on Friday, April 27th.
Law Enforcement officials say they expect to make additional arrests in this case.
