–The City of Algona will host an informational meeting this week to discuss the upcoming Wooster Street reconstruction project.
According to the city, the meeting will be held in the Media Center at Lucia Wallace Elementary School Thursday, beginning at 5:30 PM.
The reconstruction project will include 2 blocks of Wooster Street, from McGregor to Kennedy Streets. Residents who live in this area are encouraged to attend the informational meeting to learn about the project and review the timeline for construction.
Representatives from the project’s Engineering Firm, Bolton & Menk, along with the General Contractor, Reding’s Gravel and Excavating will join city staff to answer any questions residents may have.
Weather permitting, work on the project is scheduled to begin at the end of April or in early May.
