–A pair of Minnesota men were taken into custody late last week following an alleged incident in the Ledyard area.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to Ledyard just before 8 PM on Thursday (April 20), and after a brief investigation arrested 39-year-old Philip Kevin Pytleski of Fairmont, Minnesota for Violating a No Contact Order. Pytleski also had a warrant out for his arrest for previously violating a no contact order.

Online court records show Pytleski was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault-Causing Injury or Mental Illness back in September of 2022. Following that arrest, a No Contact Order was issued to prevent Pytleski from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case. An arrest warrant was issued for Pytleski back in December after he allegedly violated that protective order.

Pytleski initially pleaded not guilty to the Domestic Abuse Charge, but changed that plea earlier this month, and is scheduled to be sentenced at a hearing May 1st.

Deputies also arrested 42-year-old Dustin Jeffrey Wickert of Granada, Minnesota, on a failure to appear warrant out of Martin County, Minnesota.
