–The City of Algona will hold the annual Spring Clean Up days on Friday and Saturday at Veteran’s Park. Deputy City Administrator Barb Smith tells KLGA News there are certain things that can’t be disposed of this weekend.
Smith says the dumpsters will be available from 8AM-3PM on Friday and 8AM-Noon on Saturday.
Smith says there is also an option for certain residents to have items picked up at their home that they would like to throw out.
If you have any questions about what can and can’t be dropped off at Veteran’s Park, you can go online to www.algonaiowa.gov or call 515-295-2411. If you have items you would like picked up Saturday morning, you need to call city hall to make arrangements by noon on Friday.
