–A Titonka man was taken into custody following an early morning incident over the weekend.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to a call for assistance in Titonka around 12:45 AM on Saturday. After conducting a brief investigation, Deputies arrested 59-year-old Danny Ray Kampfe of Titonka on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault with Display or Use of a Weapon, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.
Kampfe was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Online court records show he is due to have a preliminary hearing in Kossuth County District Court on June 1st.
Court records also show a No Contact Order has been issued to prohibit Kampfe from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
