–Area residents gathered at the Kossuth County Courthouse Monday morning to pay tribute to those who gave their lives for this country as part of Memorial Day remembrances around the county. Pastor Chris Burnett served as the featured speaker for the event.
Burnett took time to remember those lost in various conflicts across the world.
Twelve new flags were dedicated during the ceremony for area veterans who have passed away in the past year.
