–An incident Saturday afternoon in Ledyard led to the arrest of an area man on multiple charges.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to a request for assistance in Ledyard just before 12:30 PM Saturday.
After a brief investigation, Deputies arrested 61-year-old John William Allen on charges of Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury, Trespassing and Interference with Official Acts.
Allen was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Online court records show he is due back in Kossuth County District Court on October 4th for a preliminary hearing.
Court records also show a no contact order has been issued to prevent Allen from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
