–Fenton residents will have the chance to interact with the six people running for two city council seats during a candidate forum Sunday evening. Dixie Meyer is President of the Fenton 70’s Club, the group hosting the forum, and she tells KLGA News they have never held an event like this before.
Meyer says the event will be informal, and they hope residents will come out and hear from all the candidates.
The candidate forum will begin at 7 PM Sunday inside the Fenton Legion Hall Community Center. Residents will have the chance to ask questions individually following the candidate statements, but there will be no questions taken from the floor. Alex Sauve, Sandi Del Rosso, Jeffrey Clabaugh, Tim Peterson, Rhonda Cash and Ryan Harms are the six candidates that will appear on the November 7th ballot seeking the two seats available on the Fenton City Council.
