–Kossuth County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a pair of demonstrations last week for North Union students in Fenton and Swea City as a part of Red Ribbon Week, that ended with the “arrest” of a famous Dr. Seuss character. Sheriff Roger Fisher tells KLGA News that the first part of the demonstration involved the Department’s K9 Officers.
Fisher says they also showed the students the Department’s new drone, and how that can assist in multiple operations.
Fisher says during the drone demonstration, students were able to watch as Deputies found the famous character inside the school building.
The Grinch was taken into custody on multiple charges, including conspiracy to ruin Christmas 2023. He was booked into the Kossuth County Jail on a no bond warrant.
