–Congressman Randy Feenstra made a stop in Algona Thursday, participating in a small business roundtable discussion. Much of the discussion focused on the lack of available childcare in rural Iowa, and how it impacts area businesses. Feenstra spoke with KLGA News following the event, and he says having these discussions are incredibly helpful when he goes back to Washington.
Feenstra also took a moment to give an update on the new farm bill.
Feenstra was joined by area legislators during the meeting that was hosted by the Algona Chamber of Commerce.
