–Republicans and Democrats across the state are set to brave the frigid temperatures as party leaders have stated that the Iowa Caucuses will take place tonight, no matter the weather.

Here in Kossuth County, Republicans will caucus at three different locations to begin the process of nominating a challenger to President Biden in the fall. Precincts 1,2,3,4 and 5 will all meet at the Summit Center in Bancroft, while precincts 6,10, and 14 are scheduled to meet at the Wesley Community Center. The remaining precincts will gather at the OB Laing Auditorium in Algona, with activities beginning at 7 PM.

Democrats across Iowa will not be making their presidential selections tonight, but they will be conducting party business during their in-person sessions. In Kossuth County, Democrats will caucus at the North Union Middle School Cafeteria in Swea City and the Lucia Wallace Elementary Gymnasium in Algona, beginning at 7 PM.
