–A Swea City man is facing charges of domestic assault following an alleged incident Friday night.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to the report of a domestic disturbance in Swea City just after 7 PM Friday. After conducting a brief investigation, Deputies arrested 21-year-old Josue John Cantu on charges of Domestic Abuse Assault causing Injury or Mental Illness-1st offense.
Cantu was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
Court records show an no contact order has been issued to prevent Cantu from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
