–The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will give area residents a chance to reflect on the latest hunting season during a meeting at the Water’s Edge Nature Center later this month. Rob Patterson serves as the Wildlife Biologist for the DNR’s Prairie Lakes Wildlife Unit, and he tells KLGA News they hope hunters will turn out for the meeting on February 20th.

Patterson says it’s important for the DNR to know how things look in different regions of the state.

Patterson says they usually get a good turnout for these meetings when they hold them each year.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, February 20th at the Water’s Edge Nature Center just north of Algona. If you can’t make it to the meeting but have some comments you would like to make, you can contact Patterson by calling 712-330-2563.
