–A Wesley businessman and volunteer firefighter is the latest recipient of the “1440 Citizen of the Month” award from the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Roger Fisher announced this week that Jerry Reding is the “1440” award winner for February.
Reding was nominated for his unwavering commitment to helping others whenever needed, as he is always donating his time and knowledge for numerous activities. He has served as a volunteer firefighter for nearly 40 years, and his nomination form praises the efforts he puts in behind the scenes for so many community events.
