–The Algona School Board officially approved the fees for the coming school year during their meeting this week. Superintendent Joe Carter says the fees will remain the same as they have been over the last few years, with one exception.
Carter says raising lunch fees is not something they really want to do at this time.
Currently lunch fees are $2.70 for students in grades K-4, $2.75 for grades 5-8 and $2.85 for 9-12 graders. Registration fees will stay at $55 for students in grades K-12, while the fees for 3-year-old preschool will remain $60/month.
