An investigation is underway after two people were found dead at a house in the rural Clarion area Monday morning.
According to the Wright Count Sheriff’s Office, Deputies located the bodies of a deceased male and female inside a residence near Clarion around 9AM Monday.
Wright County Sheriff Jason Schluttenhofer says the incident appears to be random, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was called in to assist in the case. An autopsy will be performed by the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office.
