–Area photo enthusiasts still have time to submit an entry in the “Portraits of Kossuth” contests sponsored by the Kossuth County Conservation Board. Kossuth County Naturalist Billie Willie says entries need to be received by the end of the week.
Each of the entries will be displayed inside the conservation board’s booth at the Kossuth County Fair that runs July 30th-August 3rd.
Willie says the contest is open to anyone, whether you have a high-priced camera, or are just using a smartphone.
Entries need to be dropped off at the Water’s Edge Nature Center by 4:30 PM on Friday, July 26th. Photos will be displayed during the county fair and can be picked up at the Nature Center once the fair is over.
