–A Titonka man has been taken into custody on drug and weapons charges after a search warrant was executed Monday.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies conducted a search warrant at 411 Ingham Street in Titonka around 5 PM Monday, as part of an ongoing investigation. Upon arrival, Deputies observed the occupant leave the residence and conducted a traffic stop.
As a result of the traffic stop and the search at the residence, Deputies arrested 24-year-old Preston Jacobsen. He is being charged with:
–Possession of a Firearm by a Domestic Abuse Offender (Class D Felony)
–Possession of a Controlled Substance (Serious Misdemeanor)
–Possession of Marijuana—1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor)
–Unlawful possession of Prescription Drugs (Serious Misdemeanor)
–Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
–Open Container within a Motor Vehicle (Simple Misdemeanor)
Jacobsen was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
