–The Kossuth County Planning and Zoning Commission will host a public hearing Monday afternoon to take comments on a proposed solar moratorium.
According to their published agenda, the commission will host the public hearing before making a recommendation to the board of supervisors with regards to a moratorium on solar projects in Kossuth County.
The commission will also talk with a staff member from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach about a Community Centered Solar Development Pilot Project.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 4 PM Monday in the boardroom at the Kossuth County Courthouse.
