–An Emmetsburg man is facing charges following an investigation into a traffic accident from July.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrested 37-year-old Kody James Carrigan of Emmetsburg around 9:20 PM Thursday on charges of OWI 2nd Offense, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. Carrigan is also being charged with Failure to Maintain Control, Failure to Obey a Stop Sign and Failure to Use a Safety Belt, all Simple Misdemeanors.
The charges stem from the investigation of a traffic accident in Palo Alto County on July 23rd.
Following his arrest, Carrigan was given a date to appear in front of a judge in Palo Alto County District Court.
