–A Whittemore man is facing Domestic Assault charges following an alleged incident on Sunday.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrested 37-year-old Trevor James Niebuhr just after 9AM Wednesday, after a criminal complaint was filed on Sunday and an arrest warrant issued on Monday. Niebuhr is being charged with Domestic Abuse Assault-2nd Offense, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Niebuhr was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Online court records show he is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing in Kossuth County District Court on September 17th.
Court records also show a no contact order has been issued to prevent Niebuhr from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
