–A group of area residents will once again host an informational meeting for landowners who may be impacted by the Summit Carbon Solutions pipeline project next week. Bud Jermeland is helping to organize the event which will be held on September 10th in Titonka.
Summit plans to hold informational meetings for landowners across the area in the middle of September, and Jermeland says they wanted to hold their session before those meetings.
Just as it did back in April, the meeting will feature a few guest speakers, with time for questions and answers afterwards. Jermeland says they have three presenters lined up to speak.
Jess Mazour from the Sierra Club of Iowa will be the third presenter on Tuesday, as she also spoke at a meeting this group held back in April. The informational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10th at the Buffalo Creek Activity Center in Titonka, beginning at 6:30 PM.
