–Federal law enforcement officials are once again asking for the public’s help in locating a fugitive who eluded authorities in Pocahontas County earlier this summer.

The US Marshall’s Northern Iowa Fugitive Task force is continuing the search for Nathan Edward Nickless, who was last known to be living in the greater Humboldt or Webster County areas.

Back in July, Nickless led law enforcement on a chase after being spotted at the Casey’s convenience store in Pocahontas. Nickless would end up fleeing into a cornfield when his vehicle became disabled south of Rolfe, and authorities were unable to locate him.

Nickless is wanted on drug and weapons charges stemming from a December 2023 incident. He is described as 5’ 9” tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the US Marshal’s service at 712-252-3077 or your local law enforcement agency.
