–A Humboldt woman was killed when the motorcycle she was riding collided head-on with another vehicle along HWY 169 Saturday night in rural Humboldt County.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 56-year-old Reggie Clark of Humboldt was northbound on Highway 169 in a 2017 Toyota just after 8 PM Saturday.
The accident report states that Clark was attempting to make a left-had turn into a rural residence 4 miles north of Humboldt, when he pulled into the southbound lane, and into the path of a 2000 Suzuki Motorcycle, driven by 40-year-old Angela Zeigler of Humboldt.
Emergency personnel responded, but Zeigler was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
