–An Algona man is facing multiple charges following a weekend incident along 90th Avenue.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies received a request for assistance in the rural Algona area along 90th Avenue just before 1AM Saturday. After conducting a brief investigation, Deputies arrested 43-year-old Shane David Hilbert of Algona.
Hilbert is facing charges OWI-2nd Offense, an Aggravated Misdemeanor, as well as Driving while License is Denied or Revoked, a Serious Misdemeanor and Interference with Official Acts, a Simple Misdemeanor.
Hilbert was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Online court records show he is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing in Kossuth County District Court on October 17th.
