–The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors held a meeting with city leaders this week to discuss proposed changes to the Buffalo Township Economic Development District and the county’s urban renewal plan. Amy Bjork is a Senior Attorney at Dorsey and Whitney, and she has been assisting the county as they discussed the idea of making changes to their urban renewal program.
Bjork spoke to the city leaders during a special meeting Tuesday night, and helped lay out the county’s plan.
The county is also looking at including another set of properties into the urban renewal district.
The Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the proposed expansion at 9 AM on Tuesday, November 12th.
