–A Burt man is facing a felony charge after the report of a suspicious person led to his arrest on burglary charges over the weekend.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies received that report from the rural Bancroft area just before 3 PM Saturday. Upon further investigation, Deputies located and arrested 22-year-old Chadd William-Scott Van Dusen.
Van Dusen is facing a charge of 3rd Degree Burglary, a Class D Felony. He was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
Online court records show that Van Dusen pled guilty earlier this month to a charge of 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief in a case out of Cerro Gordo County.
