–The 24th annual “Stuff the Trailer” Food Drive to benefit the Kossuth County Food Pantry saw residents come together in a big way to help those in need across the area.
Unofficially, the event held outside of AK’s Chrome Kitchen brought in $42,680 to benefit the Kossuth County Food Pantry. Along with the monetary donations, the shelves of the food pantry will be well stocked after Friday’s event.
No official weight was taken on the non-perishable items that were donated, as the event filled one large trailer and three smaller ones throughout the day.
The event has become the single biggest fundraising event for the Kossuth County Food Pantry, which has seen increased demand each month over the last year.
