–The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors gave the go ahead for a slight change to the county’s ATV/UTV ordinance during their meeting on Tuesday. Kossuth Conservation Board Director Kendall Stumme addressed the board and went through the part of the ordinance that states where ATV’s and UTV’s are prohibited.
Stumme says they want to make there’s no confusion as to where ATV’s or UTV’s can be used in Kossuth County.
The board gave Stumme approval to work with County Attorney Todd Holmes and remove the language from the current ordinance. The board will have to hold a public hearing to discuss the change and three formal readings of the amended ordinance before it can be officially adopted.
