–Work on the Central Park redevelopment project has picked up again over the last week. Algona Recreation Manager Nick Diers tells KLGA News the work taking place now will help people move throughout he park more easily once all the features are in place.
An event is planned for Saturday that will feature a skateboarding demonstration at the new skatepark and craft vendors located throughout the park.
Initial work on the splashpad is also getting underway at this time, with the work scheduled to be completed next summer.
