–The newest members of the Algona High School Wall of Fame will be honored during a ceremony prior to tonight’s football game at Bulldog Stadium. AHS History Teacher Brian Connick serves on the Wall of Fame Committee, and he says three outstanding individuals will be enshrined today.
Connick says the committee decided a few years ago to include some of the great teams from past years at AHS in the Wall of Fame.
Connick says the Wall of Fame committee meets each spring to determine that year’s inductees.
There will be a meet and greet with the inductees at 4:30 PM in the lobby of the Wilcox Performing Arts Center with the official ceremony beginning at 5PM in the high school commons. Both the meet and greet as well as the ceremony are open to the public. The inductees will also be honored at halftime of tonight’s football game with Spirit Lake.
