–A pair of Emmetsburg residents are facing drug charges after being taken into custody last week.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies went to an apartment at 2805 Schroeder Drive to serve a civil paper around 1 PM on Tuesday, October 8th. While serving that paper, Deputies observed controlled substances and applied for a search warrant.
After executing that search warrant, Deputies arrested 33-year-old Natikia La’Niece Green and Daniel LaFonte Hart on charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, a Class D Felony, as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeanor.
Both Green and LaFonte were booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Deputies were assisted on scene by the Emmetsburg Police Department.
