–A little more than 50 people gathered at Kossuth Regional Health Center to voice concerns over a recent decision by Trinity Health that will require employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by the end of September. Local business leader Stacy Besch helped to organize the rally, and the spoke with KLGA News about their concerns.

Besch says their concerned the vaccine mandate for employees would just be the beginning.

At Kossuth Regional Health Center, the only employees that are affected by the mandate are the physicians and senior administrators. Last week, Sioux Falls, South Dakota based Sanford Health, who operates several healthcare centers throughout Northwest Iowa, imposed a similar mandate, stating all employees would need to be vaccinated by November 1st.
