Storms that pushed through the area Tuesday evening produced multiple tornadoes, including confirmed twisters in rural parts of Pocahontas and Humboldt counties. National Weather Service meteorologist Rod Donovan says northern Iowa took the brunt of it.

No injuries were reported as strong winds and hail moved through Kossuth County, with heavier rainfall totals south and east of Algona. The strongest thunderstorms that produced multiple tornadoes throughout the evening, traveled through parts of Pocahontas and Humboldt counties, the SE portion of Kossuth County, Southern Hancock County and in to Cerro Gordo County. Damage reports will be collected over the next several days, as the National Weather Service tries to determine exactly how many twisters touched down.
