Whittemore Man Fined for Violating NCO

–A Whittemore man has been fined after being found guilty of violating a no contact order earlier this week.

According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to a call for assistance in Whittemore this past Monday, just after 6PM. Upon arrival, Deputies conducted a brief investigation and took 29-year-old Lance James Peck into custody on a charge of Violating a No Contact Order.

During a court appearance Wednesday, Peck was found guilty of the charge and fined $105 on Wednesday.

The No Contact Order was put in place following an incident on June 2nd where Peck was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault and False Imprisonment. He is also facing a felony count of 3rd Degree Burglary following an incident on June 11th. He is scheduled to be arraigned on those charges on Monday, July 17th.
