–The AMU Board of Trustees officially approved the company’s budget and a slight increase in water rates during their meeting this week. AMU General Manager John Bilsten tells KLGA News they are anticipating little change in revenues and expenses in 2024.
Bilsten says weather is one thing that can drive both expenses and revenues during the year.
The board did approve water rates for the upcoming year, which Bilsten says will help fund new infrastructure projects.
Bilsten says the are also anticipating some rate increases for cable television packages in the new year, but those decisions have not been finalized at this time.
