The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday morning to discuss the possible allocation to the Public Libraries receiving 100% of the money that was cut from the 2024-2025 budget. The board held a lengthy discussion, and a motion was then made. An attendee at the meeting asked for clarity on what exactly the motion was and what it meant for the libraries.

Supervisor Chairman Kyle Stecker responded.

The board now will take time to decide when this possible amendment could take place. The board also encouraged the libraries to bring them updates on how their operations are going due to the current budget they have been given.
