Lone Rock Quasquicentennial Celebration this Weekend

–Another area community is celebrating their 125th birthday this weekend, as festivities in Lone Rock get underway Friday evening.

The Quasquicentennial celebration will officially kick off in Lone Rock tonight with a steak sandwich meal from 5-7 PM at the fire station with bingo to follow.

A full day of fun is planned for Saturday, with a parade at 10:30 AM, opening of a time capsule at 11:30 AM, and activities throughout the day that will wrap up with a street dance from 7-11 PM.

Festivities will wrap up Sunday with a community church service at 10 AM and a Fun Run for all vehicles at 1 PM.
