–The report of a disturbance in Ruthven Tuesday afternoon resulted in multiple drug related charges being filed against a pair of individuals.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies were called to a residence in Ruthven around 12:45 PM Tuesday after a disturbance was reported. While investigating the incident, Deputies located illegal narcotics, at which point they obtained a search warrant to examine the rest of the home.
As a result of the search, Deputies arrested 24-year-old Jesse Colhour (Cole-hour) of Ruthven on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine—3rd offense (Class D Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana—2nd offense (Serious Misdemeanor), along with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 5th Degree Criminal Mischief and Simple Assault, all simple misdemeanors.
They also charged 21-year-old Kira Pullen of Spencer with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana—2nd Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Colhour was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Pullen was issued citations and given a court date to appear in front of a magistrate at a later time.
