–The Hunting with Heroes organization is making the final preparations for their annual hunting trip and Veteran’s Day drive through event in Lakota. Hunting with Heroes Co-Founder Bernie Becker tells KLGA News they will once again be handing out gift baskets that contain everything you would need for a complete Thanksgiving meal from 3-6 PM on November 11th.

Becker says they put signs up to direct traffic in and out of Lakota for the drive through event, as the town will more than double in population that day.

Becker says the gift boxes make sure that area veterans have everything they need to put together a complete Thanksgiving meal.

The Veteran’s Day drive through caps off a full week of activities for a handful of wounded veterans.

Any Veteran or widow of a veteran is eligible to receive the Thanksgiving gift basket during the drive through event that will run from 3-6 PM on Saturday, November 11th. Becker says they have 500 gift baskets available, but nobody will go away empty handed, as they have gift cards ready to accommodate any number over 500, covering the costs of the products in the gift basket.
