–A Titonka man is facing drug and weapons charges after law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at his residence Monday evening.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies had received information that the male occupant of the residence may be in possession of firearms illegal for him to have due to a previous felony conviction. Deputies obtained a search warrant for 249 2nd Avenue SW in Titonka and executed that warrant just after 5:30 PM Monday.
As a result, Deputies arrested 31-year-old Billy Jo Grocholski and charged him with:
–Possession or Control of a Firearm by a Felon (Class D Felony)
–Possession of a Short Barrel Shotgun (Class D Felony)
–Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor)
–Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana (Serious Misdemeanor)
–Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs (Serious Misdemeanor)
–Possesion of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Grocholski was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Online court records show he is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on January 10th in Kossuth County District Court.
