Nath Selected as Chairman by Board of Supervisors

–The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors elected Carter Nath to serve as chairman for 2025 during their meeting Thursday morning.

Nath, who served as vice-chairman in 2024, was nominated by new District 2 Supervisor Howard Haas and approved unanimously by the board.

Replacing Nath as vice-chairman is District 3 Supervisor Josh Waecther, who was nominated by new District 5 Supervisor Amber Garman, and approved unanimously by the board.

This morning’s meeting served as the first for the board in 2025, and the first for Garman and Haas, who were elected back in November.
