–The 2nd “Party in the Park” of the summer takes place tonight in downtown Algona, serving as a lead-in for the annual “Founder’s Day” celebration. Amy Whitacre with the Algona Area Chamber of Commerce says tonight’s theme is “Red, White, and Rural”.
Whitacre says they hope everyone can stop out and take part in the fun.
Party in the Park is held on the Carnegie Library Lawn, at the corners of Dodge and Nebraska Street in downtown Algona from 6-8 PM.
