–A Bancroft man suffered only minor injuries following a rollover accident along Iowa Highway 15 earlier this month.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Blake Crawmer-Wolf was southbound on Highway 15 in a 2006 Toyota Corolla around 1:15 PM on February 10th, when he lost control and crossed the centerline 4 miles south of Fenton. Crawmer-Wolf struck a mailbox on the east side of the roadway, and attempted to correct the vehicle, but ended up in the east ditch.
The vehicle rolled three times before coming to rest on its roof, as Crawmer-Wolf was able to get out of the vehicle before emergency personnel arrived. He was taken to Kossuth Regional Health Center with what were described as minor injuries, as the accident report states he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
