–The Water’s Edge Nature Center is currently hosting a traveling exhibit from the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota. Kossuth County Naturalist Billie Willie tells KLGA News the Wolves and Wild Lands Exhibit is a unique experience highlighting multiple wolf species.

The exhibit is making its way around the state, and Willie says local supporters have helped bring it to Kossuth County.

It’s pretty rare to see a wolf in Iowa, so Willie is hopeful area residents will stop out and see the exhibit while it is at the nature center.

The Wolves and Wild Lands Exhibit will be at the Water’s Edge Nature Center through the end of July, and if you can’t make it out while they’re open from 8AM-4:30 PM during the week, they are open each weekend in July, from 1-4 PM on Saturday and Sunday. If you have any questions, you can contact the nature center by calling 515-295-2138.
