–Brad Sherman was the top pick of Republicans in Kossuth County Tuesday in the 5-way race for Governor.
Sherman ended up with 672 votes here in Kossuth County, topping Congressman Randy Feenstra by 8 votes. Zach Lahn, who ended up topping Feenstra by just over 2,000 votes to win the GOP nomination, finished 3rd here with 497 votes, while Adam Steen (164) and Eddie Andrews (46) were further back.
Sherman, who has family in Kossuth County, made several stops around the area during the campaign.
While Kossuth County went to Sherman, Adam Steen won in Greene and Van Buren counties. These were the only 3 counties statewide that did not go to either Randy Feenstra or Zach Lahn.
Around the area, Feenstra was the top pick in Emmet, Hancock, Palo Alto, and Winnebago counties, while Lahn won Pocahontas, Humboldt, and Wright counties.
